Gionee GN5006L With 4,000mAh Battery Gets Certified by TENAA
Gionee to launch eight bezel-less display smartphones on November 26. The event will be live-streamed in China on Shenzhen Satellite TV. Now, a different Gionee device bearing the model number Gionee GN5006L has been spotted on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA with some exciting specs. This could be the new Gionee M7 variant or a completely different model.
According to the TENAA listing, The Gionee GN5006L will feature a 5.5-inch multi-touch (1440 x 720) display at an 18:9 aspect ratio and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. It’s more likely the Snapdragon 435 chipset. Storage options include 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB internal or 3 GB with 32 GB internal memory. The memory is expandable by micro SD card up to 256 GB.
In the camera department, the device sports an 8 MP camera on both the rear and front side, with the rear one being a CMOS sensor. It will likely support Auto-focus, 1080p video recording, and some common camera modes. The device runs on Android 7. 1.1 Nougat is out of the box and will be available in three color variants: Black, Gold, and Blue.
The Gionee GN5006L is powered by a 4000mAh battery; it measures 144.7 x 69.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams. It will likely feature 4G VoLTE support along with usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS and include sensors like proximity, accelerometer, and light sensors.
