Huawei P11 Plus Pictures Leaked with 18:9 Aspect Ratio Display
Recently, Huawei has surpassed Apple as the world’s second-largest smartphone manufacturer, and now it is only behind Samsung in sales. At MWC 2017, there were rumors about the Huawei 2018 flagship, and Bruce Lee – Huawei’s vice president of the handsets product line hinted that the next P series smartphone would be released in MWC 2018.
Today, a set of pictures were leaked by a user on the Chinese media-sharing platform Weibo. The device is speculated to be the Huawei P11 Plus. However, it is a prototype model and not likely to be the final product.
From the leaked images, the Huawei P11 Plus sports an 18:9 aspect ratio display with minimum bezels on the top and side. From the looks, it likely has a 5.9-inch screen like the Honor 9i, which also sports very similar looks. A fingerprint reader is on the front, and a dual-camera setup is on the rear. It retains the 3.5 mm earphone jack, which is a nice touch.
According to the leaked image, the smartphone hasn’t adopted the LDAF module, for which there are a lot of claims that it is not the Huawei P11 Plus. Also, the device is not likely the Huawei Honor V10 set to be released next month since it is supposed to come with the LDAF module. According to Huawei’s product line, the device will likely be the next generation Nova series. Considering the name method and size, the phone will likely be the Huawei Nova 3 Plus.
The Huawei 9i was rebranded as Honor 9i in India and some Asian countries, which had a similar design. The Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus were launched this year in March in China. The Nova 3 is speculated to launch this year on December 5. So, there is a full possibility that the new leaked design is of the Nova 3 Plus.
