LG G7 Specs Leaked; Gets Listed on Official Website
There has been a lot of hustle recently about LG’s upcoming flagship LG G7. ET News, a South Korean publication, announced that the company will launch the smartphone in March and will go on sale from April onwards. The same publication now has revealed the device’s key specs, giving an insight into it.
According to the publisher, LG will be beginning the mass production of the smartphone in March. According to the timeline, the new LG G7 will arrive a month later than its predecessor, the LG G6, launched last year. A South Korean Telecom operator has also claimed that the company is unlikely to launch the LG G7 at the Mobile World Congress (2018) that will be held next month. As for its competitors, the Samsung S9 and the S9+ will be appearing there, for which the newly appointed chief of LG, Hwang Jung-hwan, said that the company is not worried about that. Still, it will be focusing on the G7 differentiation.
As for the specs, the LG G7 will have an IP68-certified body and will likely sport the same FullVision OLED display as the LG V30 flagship. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6 GB of RAM.
The smartphone has also been listed on the company’s official website (Now Removed), which reveals the LG G7 will be coming with Fast Charge Technology. The upcoming G7 supports Fast Charge 4.0 in last year’s Snapdragons 835 chipset. More rumored features of this smartphone include Dual rear cameras, dual selfie cameras, an iris scanner, and wireless charging.
We previously covered that the LG G7 will have an advanced iris scanner. It is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated smartphones in 2018, and LG fans have high expectations of this device.
