Lineage OS 19.1 release date

While many of us, including custom ROM enthusiasts, have been awaiting Lineage OS 19.1, no official release date has been announced. The most recent Lineage OS versions, Lineage OS 17.1 and Lineage OS 18.1, were released on April 1st, 2020 and 2021, respectively. They were released with a one-year gap between 17.1 and 18.1. Following that, the upcoming Lineage OS 19.1 based on Android 12 is also expected to be released on or around April 1st, 2022. An official confirmation from the developer’s end can clear up any confusion that has been circulating online.
Except for the Android 12 Beta GSI, there is currently no firmware available for the Android 12-based Lineage OS version. Custom firmware developers will begin pushing updates to their builds once Google releases the stable Android 12 with the AOSP source code. Furthermore, during the initial release days of the Lineage OS 19.1 ROM, only a small number of devices are expected to receive the ROM, and the number of compatible devices will grow over time.
