It will be offered in two configurations: 3 GB RAM + 64 GB internal space and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage, which is expandable through the microSD card slot. It will be backed by a 3,410 mAh battery.
The phone will have a single 13 MP rear camera sensor and an 8 MP camera on the front with an LED flash. Features like the bokeh effect are present in both cameras, which software achieves. It runs on ColorOS on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. The smartphone allows navigation gestures through the on-screen buttons are also present. As mentioned, the RealMe 1 lacks a fingerprint sensor, which Face Unlocking will replace. Also, users can use two 4G VoLTE SIM cards simultaneously.
The RealMe 1 will be available in Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, and Diamond Black and exclusively on Amazon India. As for the pricing, the 3GB/128 GB variant comes at a price tag of Rs 8,9990, while the higher 6GB/128 GB variant costs Rs 13,990. The smartphone will go on sale from May 25 at noon. A 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM variant will also be available later for Rs 10,990.
In the future, all smartphones under the RealMe brand are expected to use Amazon as a distributing partner nationwide. It mainly focuses on the online segment, where another Chinese manufacturer, Xiaomi, dominates it.
