Realme Android 12 (Realme UI 3.0) Update: Eligible Phones & Release Date

As Realme is slowly rolling out the Android 11 update for its eligible smartphones, it is already time for the next Android 12 (Realme UI 3.0) update. Google has released the stable build of the Android 12 for its pixel devices.

We have Realme X50 Pro, Realme 6 Pro, Realme Narzo 20/ 20 Pro, Realme 7i, Realme 7 Pro, and Realme X7/ X7 Pro (China) running Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. Other Realme devices are yet to receive the stable version of Android 11. The rest of the devices are either on Realme UI 1.0(Android 10) or Beta Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11). Now the company is planning to provide Android 12 Update to its eligible devices.

February 19: Realme UI 3.0 beta program for Realme 8 Pro, Realme X7 Max 5G, Realme GT Neo, Realme C25, and Realme GT Master Edition is now live. Interested users can experience the Android 12.

January 25: Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program for Realme X50 Pro and Realme 7 Pro users is now live in India.

January 19: Realme 8 has joined UI 3.0 Early Access program. You can now enrol in the program to experience the latest Android 12.

January 12: Realme support has confirmed that Realme 6 Pro will not receive the Android 12 update.

January 03: Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program for Realme X50 Pro will be rolled out in Q1 2022 in India.

December 18: For Realme 8 Pro users Realme UI 3.0 Early Access is now live. Interested users can now participate in the Early Access program to experience the Android 12 ahead of its stable release.

December 17: Realme GT Neo 2 users can experience Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 via the Early Access program. It carries the software version RMX3370_11_C.01 with a size of nearly 5GB.

December 14: Realme released Android 12 beta update for the Realme X7 Max users with version C.02. It brings improvements in system stability and fixes some known issues.

December 11: Realme announced Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta program for Realme GT 5G. Interested users can now apply for Open Beta, make sure your device is running on the RMX2202_11.C.04 software version.

October 20: Realme GT smartphone users can get Realme UI 3.0 beta via an early access program. The applications will be accepted in batches and only limited seats are available. Make sure your GT 5G device is running the latest RMX2202_11_A.14 software before commencing the update. You can apply for Early Access by heading over to Settings> Software Update> Trial Version> Apply Now> Submit Details.

October 14: Realme has unveiled Realme UI 3.0 which is based on Android 12 and it succeeds the last year’s UI 2.0. The company has also shared Realme UI 3.0 beta roadmap. The first smartphone to receive the latest update will be Realme GT in October. Scroll down to check the rollout timeline for all eligible Realme phones.

October 5: Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 will be released globally on October 13. Realme GT will be the first phone from the brand to get Realme UI 3.0 update.

September 22: Realme’s Vice President Xu Qi has confirmed that Realme UI 3.0 will launch in October 2021. A specific date is yet to be disclosed by the company.

May 19: Realme has confirmed via Twitter that its flagship smartphone Realme GT (China) will get Android 12 Beta 1 in May 2021 through the Developer Preview Program. However, the upcoming beta 1 build will be based on the Realme UI 2.0.

What is Realme UI 3.0?

Realme UI 3.0 is Android custom skin from Realme. It is based on the Android 12 operating system. The third iteration of the company’s Android skin brings the Seamless Fun experience to its users. The features include a Fluid Space Design, Improved Always-On Display (AOD), AI Smooth Engine, Even More Personalisation With Global Color Theme and more.

Realme UI 3.0 Release Date

• The Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 was released on October 13, 2021. The early access program for the trial purpose will also start soon. The program will not open to all and will be limited to select devices.

Following the developer preview/beta build of Android 12, we got a stable build. Last year in July Realme started an Early Access Program where they released the beta build of Realme UI 2.0 for some of their flagship devices. This year too Realme has launched a beta build of Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 and named it under the Early Access Program. Realme has already started working on the stable build of Realme UI 3.0 and will likely launch it in November 2021 for their flagship devices. After that, the rest of the eligible Realme devices will get the Android 12 update in the next few months.
