Realme UI Update: Supported Phones List & Best Features
Realme has been working on their custom Realme UI for a while now. The objective was to deliver a close to pure Android experience. They have launched a bunch of devices worldwide and this UI will be pushed on to all those devices soon. The Realme UI was officially launched in China first, and now the company has unveiled all the new features that they will bring to their devices with this new UI.
Realme UI Features
The new realme UI is based on Android 10 and inspired by Oppo’s ColorOS 7. The idea behind this UI is simplicity from Realme. They want to keep the interface clean and simple. Realme has also revealed that they have added several new ringtones and wallpapers. So the main new features revealed by Realme are:
There are lots of new customization options with animations, fonts and icons. Realme users will now be able to choose from a wide variety of animations for different operations. There will also be support for third-party font apps, so one can have virtually any font. In terms of icons, users can now choose the shape and size of the icons. They can be circular, square or something like that, just like what we see in Android 10 by default.
2. Screen-Off display:
This is a much-awaited feature. Now just like Samsung devices, Realme devices will also have an Always-on display. This means a user can see the time, notification and battery count even when the phone is in locked mode. It will be displayed on the lock screen with the rest of the screen turned off.
3. Improved personal security:
Nowadays, the data breach has become more common than one would wish it to be. Realme has provided a solution here by providing a Private information protection option that prevents other apps from accessing contacts, messages, history and other private information.
4. Dark mode:
Dark mode on realme devices is nothing new and a bunch of realme devices already have it on them. There are some rumours that the Realme UI will add some new functionality to the dark mode, but it is not yet certain.
5. Dual Earphone connectivity:
One of the new features that the Realme UI comes with is dual earphone connectivity. It will allow users to connect an earphone via the ports while also playing the same media file on a Bluetooth device. Two users here can listen to the same media file simultaneously.
