Redmi A1 to Launch on September 6: Price, Render, Specifications
Xiaomi is all set for its launch event on September 6. Xiaomi will launch three smartphones during the event. This includes the Redmi 11 Prime 4G, Redmi 11 Prime 5G, and the all-new Redmi A1. The Redmi A1 is a new Redmi entry-level series that will resemble the Mi A series. The phone will likely run on Android 12 Go Edition instead of MIUI 13. Redmi A1 Specifications and Render
Thanks to 91mobiles Hindi, we know the specifications of the Redmi A1. It is an entry-level smartphone aiming to provide users with a stock-like experience. As for the design, the Redmi A1 will feature a plastic body with what looks like a matte finish on the back. The phone will be available in three colours— black, blue, and mint. A square housing on the back holds the dual camera. The front of the phone has a V-shaped notch for the selfie camera. Moreover, Xiaomi also claims that the smartphone is made in India.
The Redmi A1 will likely feature a top-firing speaker. On the right, there are volume rockers and the power button. And, on the left, there is the SIM card slot. We will also likely see a dedicated MicroSD slot. There is no fingerprint scanner on the phone.
As for the processor, the Redmi A1 will feature the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, which is an entry-level chipset. It should handle simple and easy tasks pretty well. The chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM, as per the GeekBench listing leaked earlier.
