Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G with Dimensity 700 SoC coming soon; suggests Google Play Console
We already know Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy A22 5G smartphone. However, the company is planning to launch the device with a different moniker in multiple markets. Galaxy A22 5G’s model SM-A226B has now listed on Google Play Console but with Galaxy A22s 5G moniker. This suggests Samsung will launch the A22 as the A22s in some regions.
The Google Play Console listing also reveals its front view and a few key specs. Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek MT633 processor i.e. Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and Mali G57 GPU. It sports a Full HD + (1080 x 2009 pixels) panel. Furthermore, the device will run on Android 11 OS.
The attached image reveals that the Galaxy A22s 5G will feature a waterdrop display. Other specs of A22s 5G will likely similar to the upcoming A22 5G. So, we will see a 6.5-inch display and Triple camera setup on the rear panel with a 48MP primary unit. The device is said to sport a 13MP front camera for beautiful selfies. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Galaxy A22s 5G will arrive in four colour options: Gray, White, Light Green and Purple. It should cost around 15000 INR if it launches in India to compete with Realme 8 5G and Oppo A53s 5G.
South Korean giant will likely bring this budget 5G smartphone in Europe, South Korea, Southeast Asia and the Indian market. We expect to hear more about the A22s 5G in the coming weeks.
