Snapdragon 780G, 768G, 765G & 750G Antutu Benchmark Scores
We have a new mid-range specialist from Qualcomm in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G. Much like the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip, this chip is built on a 5nm manufacturing process making it the most efficient 700 series processor from Qualcomm. This is an octa-core processor with a 1+3+4 architecture. We have one Kryo 670 core(Cortex-A78) clocked at 2.4 GHz, three Kryo 670 cores(Cortex-A76) clocked at 2.2 GHz, and four Kryo 670 cores(Cortex-A55) clocked 1.9 GHz.
The company claims a performance gain of 40% with this setup but they did not specify the reference point. We can assume it to be the Snapdragon 768G. In terms of GPU, we have the Adreno 642, which promises to deliver graphics performance close to the GPU found in the Snapdragon 855. There is support for updatable drivers with this new Adreno 642. We also have support for HDR10 and 1080+ displays with a 144Hz refresh rate.
With the Snapdragon 780G, we also have support for LPDDR4 RAM with up to 16GB capacity. The Spectra 570 ISP found in this chip also supports image streams from three cameras, which is a first for a mid-range chip. This ISP can handle a single camera up to 84 MP with Zero Shutter Lag enabled and a single camera up to 192 MP with Zero Shutter Lag disabled. The Hexagon 770 AI engine shows promising results with 12 TOPS. This is a big jump from the 5.4 TOPS recorded from the AI engine built into the Snapdragon 768G.
There is also the X53 5G modem that makes this 700 series processor a 5G enabled processor. We also have support for Wi-Fi 6E, which is again a first for a mid-range Qualcomm chip. Coming to cire connectivity, we get support for USB 3.1 for fast data transfers and Quick Charge 4+ for fast charging. On the wire side of things, the chip offers support for USB 3.1 for fast data transfers and Quick Charge 4+ for rapidly filling the battery.

Benchmarking platforms are not always reliable in terms of numbers but it does make it easier for people to understand how one processor differs from the others in terms of real performance. In Antutu, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G scores 382029 points, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G scores 380138 points, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G scores 450308 points, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G scores 537269 points.
